Prime Minister Narendra Modi late on Thursday reached Beijing, on the second leg of his three-day Chinese visit.

The PM will be accorded ceremonial welcome here on Friday morning and will hold talks with Chinese premier Li Keqiang later in the day.

Prime Minister on Thursday night tweeted a “special thanks” to Chinese President Xi Jinping for “an extremely productive meeting” in Xi’an earlier in the day.

The Prime Minister held summit level talks with Xi in the Chinese historic city of Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province and the hometown of President Xi.
