The ISS is much bigger than Tiangong 2 and can up to 3 times the crew, it is a lot older of course and has been gradually built up over time. A new ISS would look different i suspect.

just a quick note, China asked to be part of International Space Station programme, twice, blocked twice by the US due to ‘concerns’ of China stealing technologies.

Now, right in the face of those paranoia and demeaning bureaucrats and in 2025, US will ask China’s permission to use its space station.

Why would the US continue to do something that has been mastered? The next space goal will be far reaching space travel. Something China is well behind in but there is a long list of that stuff.
