China sends two astronauts to space lab: Xinhua

中国送两名宇航员进入太空

BEIJING: China launched two astronauts into space Monday, official media said, on a mission to its orbiting laboratory as the country works towards setting up its own space station.

The Shenzhou-11 spacecraft blasted off early in the morning from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the Gobi desert, the official Xinhua news agency reported.

据报道，10月17日，中国送两名宇航员进入太空。

此次任务是朝建立中国自己的空间站而迈出的一步。

Somehow when I read the title I assumed this manned space mission was headed to mars.
I guess you will call your men in space as Taikonauts, but the various articles posted here mentions them as Astronauts(an American version).

I think Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the world that has not had someone in space yet.

Even Afghans sent one up in the 80s I believe under soviet assistance.
