State-run Chinese press slams India’s media and its manufacturing

NEW DELHI: A state-run Chinese paper has said in an article said Sino-Indian relations are not progressing smoothly because India’s manufacturing isn’t competitive and because India’s media continues to vilify China for keeping India out of the Nuclear Suppliers Group+ (NSG).

环球时报一篇文章称，中印关系进展不顺利，是因为印度制造业缺乏竞争力，以及印度媒体一直诽谤中国不让印度加入核供应国集团。

 

This is the second time in as many days that state-run Chinese media has criticized the Indian press.

Sino-Indian collaboration on economic and trade issues “have not been going smoothly in recent years” because “Indian products are not competitive” and are therefore driving up India’s trade deficit with China, wrote China’s Global Times news outlet.

While India’s neutrality on the South China Sea verdict “despite the pressure from Washington and Tokyo” has pleased the state-run Global Times, it remains particularly unhappy with the Indian media+ .

这是这么多天以来，中国媒体第二次批评印度媒体

文章称，中印经济和贸易合作最近几年并不顺利，因为印度商品不具有竞争力，导致印度对华贸易赤字一路走高。

尽管面临来自华盛顿和东京的压力，然而印度对南海裁决保持中立的态度，还是令环球时报感到欣慰，不过对印度媒体特别不满意。

“Indian media has spared no effort in linking (Chinese Foreign Minister ) Wang’s visit to the South China Sea issue and the country’s failure in joining the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG),” Global Times wrote, referring to foreign minister Wang Yi’s visit to India last week.

Probably Chinese media thinks that competitive products mean low-price even if that be at the cost of quality. I hv stopped buying Chinese goods because of their cheap quality.

Chinese media is correct on two issues. One – Indian products are not competitive (against cheap Chinese products), Two – India and China can not be good friends (we don”t treat back hitters as friends).
Chinese media like China”s leaders always flex muscles and dictate others. Sorry India won”t accept such attitudes.
