the reason is very simple: more Chinese firms are opening factories or other facilities in Africa. There is not need to import the raw materials.

I commented a while back that Africa should not trust China when China dangled its so called carrot of $80 billion dollar investment in the region. Lol... China can print the yuan and own Africa's resources and fool them but the whole world knows the yuan is worthless. Lol..
