In Western democracy, like the US, the partiescan have very different internal domestic policies, but the external foreignpolicies cannot be completely polarized. I may be wrong: I don't see this isthe case in Taiwan,where the native Taiwanese are against the people migrating there from theMainland due to civil war. That is not what Westerners thought about Taiwan'sdemocracy.
