Gujarat woos Chinese investors amid boycott call at home

国内抵制中国货的一片呼声中，古吉拉特邦却讨好中国投资者

GANDHINAGAR: Even as local trade bodies have given a call to boycott+ Chinese goods and Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani appealed to people to adopt Swadeshi (indigenous) products+ , a high-level state government delegation is currently camping in China to woo investors+ .

虽然本地贸易机构发出抵制中国货的呼吁，古吉拉特邦首席部长也号召人们买国货，然而一个高级别的邦政府代表团目前正在中国积极活动，极力吸引投资者。

As part of an its international road shows in the run-up to the next Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit+ (VGGS), a delegation of senior government officials and representatives of 20 companies is on a five-day tour of China. A number of business-to-business (B2B) meetings have already taken place.

作为下一届古吉拉特邦全球峰会的国际路演的一部分，一支由高级官员和20家公司代表组成的代表团，正在中国进行为期5天的履行。目前，已经举行了多场商业会议。

“Our delegation’s objective is to strengthen the relationship between China, Hong Kong and India where Gujarat will play a key role by offering avenues across sectors to enhance business relationships,” Sanjay Prasad, principal secretary, agriculture and co-operation, Gujarat government, said in an official statement after B2B meetings in China. Gujarat seems set to host China’s government and business delegations at the upcoming vibrant summit in January 2017.

代表团的目的是，加强中国（大陆）、香港与印度的关系，而古吉拉特邦在其中会发挥关键角色，将努力加强彼此的商业关系。

在即将到来的2017年1月举行的全球峰会中，古吉拉特邦将招待来自中国的政府和商业代表团。
