ZHUHAI, China: China’s newest warplane, the J-20 stealth fighter, will make its first public flight at the Zhuhai Air Show, its manufacturer announced on Monday, as Beijing flexes its long-range military muscles.

The J-20, “which military enthusiasts at home and abroad have watched closely”, will make its first public flight demonstration, said Tan Ruisong, the president of China’s state aerospace company AVIC.

The design of the J-20 has been copied from the F-35 fighter plane. The Chinese stole all the blueprints by hacking into Pentagon. The problem the Chinese had was they could not make an equivalent engine to the F-35 and therefore this plane is not as good as they wanted it to be. None of the Chinese planes are up to the mark, that is why they have started buying planes again from Russia.

I am fairly certain the engine in the J-20 will be of Russian design as Russian engineers have been working closely with China to enhance Chinese engines.

That does not make J-20 any superior….J-20 is still a proto display model stage and long long ways to go to its flight worthiness even….Proving, testing, readiness and production – I will bet atleast another 5-6 years down the line if everything goes well…..

Chinese indigenous war machinery is equivalent to condoms…use and throw…why no one in the world buys their planes or other technologies? They copy designs but don’t have brains for R&D. We Indians are far more better than them.
