ISLAMABAD- ChinesePresident Xi Jinping today departed from Pakistan after his historic two-dayvisit to Pakistan. The Chinese delegation was seen off by senior officialsincluding President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and COASGeneral Raheel Sharif. Xi's plane will be escorted by JF-17 Thunder fighterjets while it is in Pakistani airspace. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif earlierthanked President Xi Jinping for his inspiring address at the Parliament.
PM Nawazsaid, "We are good neighbors, close friends and trusted partners. We are ironbrothers."
Xi Jinpingsaid that both countries should maintain strategic communication oninternational issues. He said Beijing and Islamabad have been of tremendoussupport to one another, adding that both cooperated in times of need.
