Trade deficit between India and China has increased to USD 44.7 billion during April-January period of 2015-16, Parliament was informed today.

India’s exports to China stood at USD 7.56 billion during the period whereas the imports has jumped to USD 52.26 billion in April-January.

Indians can’t resist China’s goods because China’s good have certain quality and price is so cheap. If India don’t buy from China and buy from elsewhere, India will not be able to get that much of goods with same amount of money paid.

Disappointing. Make in India must curtail imports from China. However, There is a tendency, for the Indian business sector to increase the price of goods that will replace the Chines imports. Besides, Indians crave for cheap but foreign low grad equipment than local ones, despite its longevity. They consider it a matter of prestige.

Yet Indians crave for such cheap and sub-standard products. Curtailing the deficit is a job not only belong to the government but also a job of the people. At least if could stop imports of the low grade fire crackers and stop the smuggling of Chinese goods into India, we could contribute to nationhood. Nothing happens but wait for the government to do everything.

India should classify the imports as necessary and unnecessary like electronic toys,apparel items,decorating lights,mobile accessories and decorative domestic products, many other things that does not aid to our economy and turning our entrepreneurs into traders.We should concentrate on imports that will increase our industrial production and productivity

印度应该把进口分门别类，有必要的，也有不必要的，比如玩具啊，服装啊，装饰灯，手机配件。

很多进口商品对我们经济没有帮助的， 只会让我们的企业家变成商人。

还是加大会对我们工业生产有帮助的进口
