The first train connecting China to Iranthrough the ancient Silk Road has arrived in the Iranian capital aftertraveling over 10,000 kilometers, head of the Iranian railway company said.
通过古丝绸之路连接中国和伊朗的首趟列车在经过1万多公里的行程后已经抵达伊朗首都，伊朗铁路公司主席如是说。
This is important news, and it is highlyencouraging of course, but with those numbers, no one should sit on any laurelscontently yet. Numbers both capacity-wise, as well as speed need to improvesubstantially for the Silk road to fulfill its mission, namely, to be capableto carry ALL essential freight between China and Iran. Because the Silk Road isnothing less, than a secure and defensible lifeline, sometime in the future,when merchant marine connections are severed, due to hostile navies actions inthe High Seas.
这是个重要的新闻，非常鼓舞人心，但是还不能得意。在运输能力和速度上还得大大提升，这样才能最大化的发挥丝绸之路的作用，即有能力在中国和伊朗之间运输所有的基本货物，因为在未来的某个时候，如果某些敌对国家在公海上故意搞破坏的话，那么陆上丝绸之路就相当于一条安全和具有防卫能力的生命线。

Hope that in time they will have two lines,so that when one train is coming another one could be going back. Ultimately,they can have a train leaving every other day in both directions. Good work.
