不出所料，国际货币基金组织将人民币纳入基准货币篮子，这是北京为获得全球经济大国认可而展开活动所取得的胜利。
将人民币与美元、欧元、英镑和日元一道纳入特别提款权篮子的决定，是中国融入全球金融的一个重要里程碑，是对中国改革取得进步的肯定。
为了满足IMF的标准，北京最近几个月进行了一系列改革，包括加大外国人投资中国货币市场的准入，更频繁的债券发行以及延长人民币的交易时间。

the yuan,s inclusion in the reserve international currency basket is a big blow to india & specially for our top leader,who had lobbied hard to see that it is deferred. as yuan becomes an international currency china’s clout in the world will increase,moreover international business dealings/payments will be done in yuan from now. RBI will have to keep yuan in its stock, chances are that in the next decade yuan may overtake euro to become the second most powerful international currency.

India & Japan tried their level best to deter the IMF from approving Chinese Yuan being given acceptance as an International currency, but their efforts failed miserably. Moreover the weightage of Japanese yen, British sterling & Euro has been downgraded to accomodate Yuan, which has a higher weightage than yen & sterling. A big victory for China & & a loss of face for Japan & India.
